Jolly’s Golf Society Fundraising Event

jollys golf femalefocusonline feb25 6jollys golf femalefocusonline feb25 1There was an amazing turnout at the Socio-cultural centre in Rojales on Saturday 4th January where the presentation of over 40 Christmas gifts for the underprivileged children of Rojales took place.

A massive well done to Jolly’s Golf Team and Jolly’s Bar for their continuous support as well as everyone else who got involved in this fantastic event – there was barely a dry eye in the house watching the sheer pleasure on those little boys and girls faces.
In addition to the gifts given, there was also a cheque of 2,250.00€ presented to the mayor of Rojales and councillor Lourdes Lopez to help minors and families in situations of vulnerability.
The Ayuntamiento provided Roscon de Kings and soft drinks for all in attendance and the fantastic local band FMC gave up their time to entertain everyone with an amazing show.
A huge thanks goes out to Paul Ralph of the golf society for all the planning involved in this event and all his little helpers as well as the many local businesses that donated prizes to raise funds in raffles and an auction.... this could not have happened without this support.
With more time and planning this event is sure to be bigger and better next time... watch this space for more information!!!
